I’ve been doing a bit of thinking lately. I’ve been really struggling to cope with Mr H’s job situation. But why is it affecting me so much? I was in tears this morning over it.

Friday night with D&G went well. The house (downstairs at least) looked better than it has done for months. As is becoming normal when we get together with them large amounts of alcohol were consumed (particularly by me…no one else was on white [...]

D&G (Mr H’s sister and her husband) are staying tomorrow night en route to Italy and the house looks like a bomb has hit it (yet again!). I’m trying to get the house, or at least any [...]

I know I said I’d try to post on Tuesday…sorry. I had an email from Mr H on Tuesday morning saying that he had to go to a training course and would be away overnight on Wednesday. Lovely. So rather than Tuesday being our return to ‘normal’ service it’s actually been today.

Well, my bags are packed, the munchkin’s toys are ready for the journey and the train tickets are in my bag. All I need to do in the morning is get together some lunch and snacks for us both and we’re ready to go.
